6 & 12-String Dreadnought Models

Steel string acoustic guitars are made in a variety of body shapes and sizes.
The term used to describe the most common size/shape is 'Dreadnought'.
The name first came into use around 1930 and was inspired by the giant battleships of the time.
A dreadnought model is an excellent choice if you are looking for agreat all round instrument.
The big body of a dreadnought makes a big sound with lots of bass response, excellent for strumming and finger style accompaniment.

List price 6 String Dreadnaught $339.00
with Quantum EQ $469.00 List price 12 String $439.00
with Quantum EQ $569.00

Several models in the A&L line are made with solid cedar or spruce tops. A solid top guitar will require a little more care in terms of exposure to heat and humidity, but the upside is significant. A solid top guitar will not only produce richer sound and better dynamic range but has the added benefit of improving over time.

The Cutaway design is primarily about gaining left hand access to the upper parts of the fingerboard. This typically requires a certain amount of advanced technique. However, there are a couple of other reasons to consider a cutaway. For starters they look cool and who knows, perhaps if you are attracted to the looks of your new guitar, you'll be more inclined to pick it up and play it. List price Cutaway $415.00
with Quantum EQ $539.00

Folk Model

In recent years the dreadnought guitar's grip on the majority of the acoustic guitar market has been giving way as more and more guitar players sample the possibilities presented by alternative body sizes and shapes. The A&L Folk model has become a particularly popular guitar. Basically, this is a steel string guitar with a body that conforms to classical guitar dimensions. The smaller size makes the Folk very comfortable to play—especially advantageous to smaller players and it produces a sound that emphasizes more mid-range, making it a great choice for finger style players.

Available in Natural, Antique Burst, Black, Sunrise, Trans Blue and Trans Red with solid top.
Almond Brown available with laminated top.

List price Folk $339.00
with Quantum EQ $469.00

AMI
The AMI is modeled after the dimensions of a Parlor guitar from the early 1900's. Parlor guitars have been staging a comeback since the early 1990's and continue to gain in popularity.
